What is Overflow?

Overflow is our giving platform that enables seamless giving to Awaken Church.

How can I view my yearly giving statement?

Giving statements are available in your Overflow account. Simply log into your account And Click on  Tax Documents’ in the menu bar.If you need assistance, contact the Giving Team at Giving@AwakenChurch.com

How can I set up and manage my recurring giving?

SETUP

Recurring giving can be done one of two ways!

    1. Awaken app
      • open the Awaken app
      • click “Giving”
      • select “Credit/Debit/ACH”
      • select “Recurring” as your preferred giving option and follow the prompts
    2. Online
      • click here
      • select “Credit/Debit/ACH”
      • select “Recurring” as your preferred giving option and follow the prompts

MANAGE

To manage your recurring gifts, log in to your Overflow account, go to “Recurring Gifts” in the menu bar, tap the three dots, scroll down, and select “Edit” or “Cancel” if needed.

What is ACH? Why is it beneficial? How do I set it up?

WHAT

An ACH transaction is a safe electronic money transfer made between banks and credit unions that are typically at lower risk of unauthorized charges.

WHY

  • Greater Kingdom impact – ACH transactions have significantly lower fees than card donations, meaning more of your giving supports Kingdom mission! The fees for ACH are only 45 cents, compared to the industry standard credit card fee of 2.9% (of the total giving amount).
    For example, a $1,000 tithe or offering would result in a transaction fee of only 45 cents  opposed to 29 dollars!
  • More secure – Opposed to card transactions, ACH transfers are typically at lower risk of unauthorized charges and are also less likely to fail due to declined cards or expirations.
  • Worry Free – Provides you with a stable and consistent way to give.

HOW

To set up ACH giving:

  • log into the Awaken app
  • go to the “Giving” section
  • select “Bank Transfer”
  • enter your routing and account numbers for direct transfers from your bank

Can I give from my business ?

Yes, you can give from your business in Overflow. When making a donation, ensure that you select the option to give as a business and enter the appropriate business details.

Contact your tax advisor to determine the best way to structure your business giving.

How can I give assets to the church?

Online giving is possible via multiple forms including  ACH, credit cards, debit cards, stocks, crypto, and donor advised funds. Using either this page or the Awaken app, you can start by choosing your preferred form of giving.

For real estate or highly appreciated assets, contact the Giving Team at Giving@AwakenChurch.com for assistance. 

How do I set up an employer match donation?

Many companies match charitable donations! Check with your employer or contact us at Giving@AwakenChurch.com for help setting it up. 

How does this work? Many employers offer a corporate donation matching program in which they will match a donation to a qualified 501c3 organization.

How do I get involved in Vision Builders?

Visit the Vision Builders page on the Awaken Church website or email Giving@AwakenChurch.com to learn how you can pledge and contribute.

How can I see the balance and progress of my Vision Builders Pledge?

As we transfer all pledges to Overflow, we recommend following these steps to check your pledge progress and balance:

  • log in here to My Awaken
  • navigate to “My Giving”
  • select “Pledges”
  • locate your current Vision Builders progress
