We are excited to officially launch our newest campus located in Boise, Idaho!

Join us on Easter Sunday for an amazing day in church. Our Easter experience will involve uplifting worship, an inspirational message, as well as fun for the kiddos. We will have an Easter Egg Hunt, Photos with the Easter Bunny, Sweet Treats and more!

Our collective goal for Easter is to invite as many people as possible to these services so that they may hear the message of salvation.

At Awaken Church, we do life together. God did not design us to do life alone. We truly are better connected, and at Awaken we bring this to life through the combination of Church Services and Connect Groups.

Here at Awaken, we don’t see Prayer Meetings as another “churchy” thing to do during the week. We know that these gatherings are truly the “engine room” of the church and really propel the vision, mission, and culture of our church forward! We meet every week at our Awaken Boise campus building.

Awaken Church is a church that is fresh, real, and powerful. Our heart is to win souls and make disciples of all nations. Our vision and mission is to impact cities and influence nations towards Jesus Christ. We focus on developing leaders and empowering people to become all that God has purposed and destined for them to be.

Our lead pastors, Jurgen and Leanne Matthesius, moved to San Diego with their family from Sydney, Australia in 2005 to plant a church. From humble beginnings meeting in hotels, schools, and performing arts centers, we are continually growing to fulfill the vision in Ps. Jurgen and Leanne’s hearts to be a multi-campus, multi-generational church seeing lives changed and impacted every week. Right now we have locations in San Diego, Salt Lake City, and now Boise!
