Twisted: The Musical

We’ve all heard the tragic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, the miserly man who despised Christmas. But what heartaches brought him to a point of such brokenness and despair? What events transpired that could forge a heart so bitter and a soul so twisted?

Join us as we pull back the curtain on this classic Christmas story with an immersive, live production. Infused with drama and humor, Twisted chronicles the beloved backstory of Scrooge set to the backdrop of your favorite 80’s songs. Laugh, cry, and fall in love with this redemptive, re-imagined twist on a classic Christmas story.

Night of Christmas

Night of Christmas is held at The Rady Shell at Jacob’s Park serving the city of San Diego with one its greatest family Christmas traditions! This spectacular event features classic carols, a string orchestra and choir, breathtaking aerialists, captivating storytelling, and much more.

Night of Christmas isn’t just a show, it’s an experience: the night’s festivities surrounding the main event includes holiday themed food and beverages, family focused activities throughout the park, and more. Stay tuned for more info for this event for Christmas 2027.

HERO Rock Musical

This one of a kind Rock Musical tells the story of the original battle of GOOD vs. EVIL that culminates in the greatest comeback of all time. After the book of Malachi completes what is known as the biblical ‘Old Testament’, a span of 400 years passes where God is silent. Through the electric genre of rock music, HERO interrupts the silence and immerses you in the story. Some might call it fiction, while others know it as The Life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

HERO will captivate, inspire and transform the way you view your world. You never know what new song or special surprise will be in store – so resurrect your inner rockstar and rock out with our live band and fantastic cast!

Auditions

Auditions are held yearly for all productions. This year, we will be accepting auditions for Twisted (December 2026) and Hero the Rock Musical (Easter 2027). Performers of all ages, abilities and backgrounds are welcome to audition for all roles!

Audition Tips

Think CHARACTER: remember that every role in this show tells a story. Whether you are acting, singing, or dancing, we look forward to seeing you express your characters through the auditions.
Vocalists: We are looking for someone who carries the heart of the song in a beautiful combination of vocal execution, storytelling, and grandiose performance.
• You will be evaluated on: Emotion, Pitch, Tonality, Tempo, and Vocal Range
Dancers: We are looking for technical excellence as well as full bodied performance quality.
• You will be evaluated on: Technique, Accuracy, Expression, Connection, and Innovation
Actors: We are looking for bold, highly expressive performers who fill the stage and fully commit to each role.
• You will be evaluated on: Characterization, Articulation, Chemistry, Emotional Dynamic, and Movement

  • Callbacks are invite only, based on the initial auditions
  • You may be considered for a role you did not audition for
  • Your audition will be recorded for internal use and will not be shared or distributed

DO IT HAPPY: We believe that joy is a choice. Whether circumstances are favorable or unfavorable, we choose to do it happy. We will always remain the student. We do not know it all, and choose to stay learning. Correction, direction, and instruction is what builds us up, and is never intended to defeat us. In fact, we welcome the moments that develop us. Our favorite question is “What can I work on?” We will embrace the suck! If it sucks, you won’t find us complaining. We have an attitude of gratitude. We are grateful in every moment because we are one step closer to being the people God intends us to be.
BIG VISION ENERGY: We see the big picture! We think in the long term. Pushing the limits is our thing. We find comfort in the uncomfortable. We are innovative in our efforts to shift culture and change the arts and entertainment industry. Box? What box? We are so far removed from the box, it’s our nature to think outside of it. We think and speak prophetically. God has given us the ability to see things that are not, and command them into being. We will do something worth remembering.
