The course helps you understand the spiritual meaning of baptism and ensures you’re fully prepared. It’s a short but essential step.
Can anyone get baptized?
Yes! However, if you’re under 18, parental/guardian approval is required. Please note this on the interest form. We encourage parents to sign babies up for Baby Dedications.
What happens after I get baptized?
We encourage you to stay engaged in church life: Complete our DNA Course, serve on a team, join a Connect Group, and continue growing in your relationship with God.
What should I expect?
On the Sunday before your baptism, you’ll attend a 60-minute baptism course at your campus. This session is both informational and encouraging—and it’s required before participating in a baptism at Awaken Church.
